Yesterday I announced my first-ever online painting course, "Wild Wonder." 🌸
The night before launch I was so excited I could hardly sleep, but at the same time I was totally terrified of crickets, you know? But I just have to say, you all received me and my announcement with so much love and support and delight and fanfare. What a relief to be caught in the net of all of you lovelies when I took a huge leap. Being an artist means putting myself out there again and again and again. Sometimes it's just so terrifying! I'm not sure if I'll ever get used to it?
But also guess what?! People are signing up! This thing is happening! The very first person who signed up when I announced it lives in Finland, how amazing is that?! Finland! And people are participating from all over the USA. And Mexico too! Some of you I know, some of you I don't know yet and I am going to meet through this experience together. I am so excited. I can't wait to see what you each find in the nature where you live and what art you will make from it. This dream of taking people on my wilderness art retreats virtually is becoming real 🌎 How amazing is our world? I am still so amazed at the internet you guys. We have access to each other in such a direct way and we can find our global kindreds so much more easily. I'm so excited to have this offering in motion and begin this part of my career teaching online. It's only possible if there are people to teach, i.e., if some of you out there resonate with what I'm offering. So just really, really thank you for what you do in giving me feedback, support and encouragement. It is a pretty pivotal moment in my art career right now and I feel so held by you all. You have my love and appreciation in return 💕🙏🏽thank you💕🙏🏽🌟📷by @vineandthistle
