Ladies, I see you asking questions like "how much weight should I use?" OR "what protein should I take" OR "how many reps should I do?" These questions are fair to ask especially if you just started lifting, it's not annoying so let me break it down for you:
LIFTING HEAVY WEIGHT:
Two years ago, I struggled to curl 15lbs, but when you do it for so long, 15lbs becomes NOTHING, you can't feel it and that prompts you to lift heavier. You can't stay lifting the same weight forever, you have to move on. You won't get bulky, so please get that out of your mind, but then there are competitive females out there who see girls squatting 205 and then they think they can do it too only to end up hurting themselves. You NEED to start at a comfortable weight, that will be your warm up set, then move to a challenging weight, it should be harder when you reach your 6th rep. As for reps, for me, I like to do 12-15 reps for low weight, and 6-8 reps for heavy weight. It's that simple.
WHAT PROTEIN DO YOU USE?!! People think that protein powder is what makes you gain muscle 😂 it's like it will travel to your muscle and BOOM! It'll explode on your arms or your butt and make the muscle grow 😆 it's not like that, whey protein isn't everything, you still need to eat. I stopped taking protein shakes because it messed up my skin so bad, Ive never had such horrible skin in my entire life that's until I started taking whey protein. It's horrible, so now I get ALL my nutrition from food, and ever since I stopped my skin has gotten so much clearer. I'm not saying you should stop taking protein shakes, if it's not causing your skin any harm please be my guest and continue taking them. But they're not that important.
