Bella proving my booty gains will never be as impressive as hers. Whatever, cat 🐈. Rocking my @womensbest
tights and feeling thuper aerodynamic #sosmoooth
I thought this was worth addressing as I know a lot of females want to add curves and lose fat but the truth is, you need to eat enough calories to add mass. It's highly unlikely you'll be making crazy 💪🏻 gains while getting a defined six pack. It's hard enough as a chick to gain muscle, let alone while consistently in a deficit.
If you're in a gaining or strength-building phase, you should be eating enough cals to support muscle growth. I do however understand that even if you're happy with your progress, it can be disheartening to see people with defined abs and can make you start to question yourself. I think it's natural to feel this way to some extent but don't let it change your plans. That other person may be in a totally different phase than you, they have different genetics than you, and a different training history. You'll never win the comparison game and will be much happier in the long term that you stuck it out and invested the time.
Always determine your goals and then make a short and long term plan of action. Make sure you understand the 'why', write it all down, and then adhere to it.
As someone just coming off of numerous bloatey days, I would also like to mention that just because you're bloated doesn't mean you've gained fat. I understand it can mess with your mind (been there, done that) but that ish is transient; stick to the plan, Stan.
That's all from me. ONE day I'll learn how to be concise #butthatdayisnottoday
